Jo is passionate about supporting clients in developing their business, teams and people. In particular she helps companies become better at recruiting and resourcing, learning and development and coaching, all aimed at helping teams achieve higher levels of performance.

Jo’s real niche is for training and developing team managers in core HR skills such as recruitment/selection of the right people & effectively handling tricky situations such as absence management, disciplinary and capability issues. Jo’s highly participative style and deep experience and knowledge of managing HR issues ensure that key messages translate to line managers in a highly engaging way.

Another key area of focus that falls under Jo’s wing is promoting diversity and equality in the workplace and she delivers thought provoking programmes covering unconscious bias, equality at work and supporting diversity in the work place.

Examples of Jo’s impact include:

  • developing and delivering HR skills ‘bite size’ training for a large UK and Ireland technology and network services provider.
  • supporting a high quality international contemporary arts business in effective behaviour in the workplace along with line manager training focussed on how to deal with sensitive issues by supporting their employees in harassment and bullying workshops.

Outside work Jo is a keen walker and live music fan.

Her ‘claim to fame’ is she walked a 75 mile section of the famous Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain in 2017.

Jo is a great member of The Crew and I know that you’ll find her a great asset to have by your side.
